The 7 Best Airbnbs in Sedona, Arizona

02/18/2021 by Chloe 1 Comment

Nestled in the Arizona’s red rock landscape, Sedona is a funky area with some of the best views in the state. This funky town has a reputation for being super spiritual as the home of four energy vortexes (if you’re wondering what the heck an energy vortex is, check out this BMTM post.) But besides its mystical side, the city’s vibrant arts community gives the city a creative energy unlike anywhere else.

While the area is great for camping if you’re making your way around Arizona, here are seven Airbnbs in Sedona that give you a unique experience for an equally unique city:

Best Airbnb for a cozy atmosphere

This cabin provides the ultimate cozy experience with a bit of luxury mixed in. Spend your time here exploring the nature trails, or relaxing by the fireplace—this Airbnb makes it possible to do both:

Oak Creek Canyon Cabin

  • Location: The Airbnb is in Oak Creek Canyon, which is about 15 miles north of Sedona. Check out the USDA website for more information about Oak Creek Canyon.
  • Nearby Attractions: The cabin is immersed in Northern Arizona’s nature, as it borders forest service land and is surrounded by mountains. This Airbnb is about 1.5 hours from the Grand Canyon and a few minutes’ walk from some hiking trails.
  • Cost: This Airbnb costs $270 a night.
  • Features of the Airbnb: The cabin has 2 bedrooms, 2 beds and 2 baths. It can accommodate up to 6 guests.

Best Airbnb for views

While this Airbnb has all the essentials you need, the views take the cake for this one. You’ll find no parking lot or roadside sign blocking you from Sedona’s gorgeous landscape here. Visitors of this accommodation can enjoy the Northern Arizona landscape from the patio to the kitchen window!

Beaulieu Cottage

  • Location: The Airbnb is located in West Sedona.
  • Nearby Attractions: The Airbnb is along Arizona State Route 89A, where you can find restaurants and grocery stores. Thunder Mountain Trail head and Boynton Canyon are also close.
  • Cost: This Airbnb costs $155 a night.
  • Features of the Airbnb: The cabin has 1 bed and 1 bath. It can accommodate up to 2 guests.

Best Airbnb for solo travelers

For those wanting to venture through Sedona alone, this tiny cabin provides the perfect amount of private space. The compact space feels much larger with its floor-to-ceiling windows, and it comes with a personal microwave and mini fridge for you to use.

Open Heart Tiny Glamping Cabin

  • Location: The Airbnb is located in the southern part of Sedona.
  • Nearby Attractions: The cabin is near Brewer Road Hiking Trail.
  • Cost: This Airbnb costs $75 a night.
  • Features of the Airbnb: The cabin has 1 bed and 1 bath. It can accommodate up to 3 guests. While the tiny cabin is your own private space, the available bathroom is in the back and is shared with another tiny cabin on the property.

Best Airbnb for location

Deciding between a stay in the city or in the midst of nature? This house offers a compromise between the two, as it’s located in the foothills of Sedona’s red rocks and the touristy parts of the area:

Apache Trail

  • Location: The Airbnb is located in Uptown Sedona, which is in the city’s northern part.
  • Nearby Attractions: Uptown Sedona is a big tourist destination, so many of Sedona’s main attractions are easily accessible from here.
  • Cost: This Airbnb costs $114 a night.
  • Features of the Airbnb: The cabin has 2 bedrooms, 2 beds and 1.5 baths. It can accommodate up to 5 guests.

Best Airbnb for luxury

This private spot is nothing short of luxurious. Built as one of Sedona’s historic buildings, this Airbnb comes with a hot tub, steam room, dry sauna, and salt water pool. If your goal was to come here and get some well-deserved TLC, this is your place.

Spa Sanctuary

  • Location: The Airbnb is located in West Sedona.
  • Nearby Attractions: The Airbnb is within walking distance from over 15 walking trails and is about 1.5 miles from the center of Sedona.
  • Cost: This Airbnb costs $545 a night.
  • Features of the Airbnb: The cabin has 1 bedroom and 1 bath. It can accommodate up to 2 guests.

Best Airbnb for friends

This hideout makes for a great base if you decide to come with a group of friends. The location is remote enough to have privacy, but also close to some restaurants and shopping locations if some of your friends decide to head into town. As an added bonus this Airbnb's desk/office space makes it easier if any of your friends have to work from home!

Sedona Sweet Serenity

  • Location: The Airbnb is located on the south side of Sedona.
  • Nearby Attractions: Visitors can access Oak Creek a short distance away. Other restaurants and attractions, like the Tlaquepaque Shopping Village, are nearby.
  • Cost: This Airbnb costs $404 a night.
  • Features of the Airbnb: The cabin has 2 bedrooms, 3 beds and 2 baths. It can accommodate up to 6 guests.

Honorable Mention: If your friend group decides to lean on the nature side for your trip to Sedona, the Heavenly Hideaway is a great option. The A-frame house's location in Flagstaff is close to many of the red rock formations you see out in Sedona.

Best Airbnb for couples

This quiant studio is located in a quiet neighborhood, offering guests peace and privacy. The private patio offers stunning views and outdoor seatings. Many couples commented that they are keen to return!

Sunshine Studio

  • Location: The Airbnb is located near Thunder Mountain.
  • Nearby Attractions: This stay is a short drive from many local hiking trails and downtown, with plenty of shops and restaurants around.
  • Cost: $122 a night
  • Features of the Airbnb: The studio has 2 beds and 1 bath. It can accommodate up to 2 guests.

Sedona is a great stop in your itinerary if you want to experience some of Arizona’s more unique and artsy vibes. Whether you want to venture out here solo or with a group of friends, the picturesque landscape makes this destination worth a stay.
