More About Ashley
Growing up in a conservative Chinese family, Ashley never left the country on her own until she was 21, when she took the plunge and participated in a silent meditation retreat in Thailand. After graduating university with first-class honors, she worked with Facebook for three years before taking off on a solo trip all over Southeast Asia, spending months in each country for an immersive experience. She enjoys adventures off the beaten path, and loves seeing a country through the locals’ perspectives.
Ashley started working for Be My Travel Muse in 2017 and continued her solo travels in Asia and beyond. She is an expert in researching trips and curating packing lists for different destinations and trip styles. Ashley currently manages both Be My Travel Muse and Parenthood Adventures, and has embarked on her biggest adventure yet: motherhood.
